My Why?

In 2023, my son is turning 13. I want to create the ultimate, epic, trip for him (#FireworksforTrey). I saw the promotional video for the The Westin Beach Resort & Spa at Frenchman's Reef located in St. Thomas and decided this is the place. I made my reservation and the rest was yet to be determined. Let me back up a little, I'm a single mom and my full-time job is a Gifted Education Teacher. With that being said, Luxury Travel Spending Dollars are not in abundance in my household.
However, I am determined to create joyful, unforgettable, memories with my son, traveling to as many places as possible. It's always an adventure for us traveling to a new place.  We love to try new food and experience activities.  This is our favorite way to learn. I have to find creative ways to make this happen. Yes, there are many people that show you how to travel with points but I noticed these strategies fit the traveler with high limit credit cards with point incentives.  I think this is wonderful, but not everyone has a few of these in their wallet.  Some may be in the process of credit building or repair.  However, you too can still travel!  If you have not downloaded the following apps. Like in the case of #fireworksforTrey, the hotel was not available with any of the airline packages. But with Klarna and Affirm, I was able create a payment plan for my air travel.
